Hair Color

One thing that I first noticed when walking around London is how many people have their hair dyed an unnatural color.  In America, people with interestingly colored hair get strange looks and are commonly judged for it.  However, here, no one seems to thinks it is unusual.  In fact, it is easy to buy a boxed kit to dye your hair hot pink the way you can dye your hair a shade of brown in the States.

Dying my hair a fun color is something that has always appealed to me, so when I came to London, I could no longer resist the temptation.  I ended up bleaching and dying the tips of my hair teal.  When I’m ready to go completely back to my natural hair color, I can just cut off an inch or two, but I think I’ll be keeping it this way for a while.
