Back to Reality

I am officially home from my month abroad for the rest of the summer!  My journey back to the states went pretty well overall.  Obviously there were some long lines and a couple crazy people along the way but I made it home safe and sound!  I arrived yesterday to JFK and was greeted by my Mom, who drove me back to our house in New Jersey.  Coming home was a really odd feeling as I had a hard time grasping that my trip is actually over.  I had been planning and preparing for this trip for so long that it seemed unreal that it was over so quickly!  They say that time flies when you’re having fun, and they are not joking!  Needless to say, I had the time of my life during this last month and I am so happy I seized this opportunity.  I would recommend this program to any student that is looking for a lot of amazing experiences in a short amount of time.  I am a student athlete so the 30-day program was the best program that fit with my busy schedule.  Although it is not that long compared to other study abroad programs, I still have made so many new friends and have tried so many new things.  I can hardly believe it!  Anyway, I am in the process of doing a ton of laundry and getting back into the swing of things in the states.  I feel like I have been living in a fantasy world for the last month so it looks like it is back to reality!  Good luck to all students still abroad and I hope you enjoy everything you do! I am looking forward to continuing to follow your blogs!

One of the views of Prague that I am going to miss!

  1. It's funny because I also feel like Prague was some kind of fantasy world! I wake up back home and it is just strange to me to imagine that I am no longer in Prague and that it is all over! However, I do find myself waking up early in the morning and needing to force myself back to sleep. But I hope you are adjusting well and have a great rest of the summer!
