After a good five hours of sitting in the car heading to Liverpool, we finally make it to Creamfields Festival. This place looked like an amusement park for hipsters. There were rides, great food and cheap drinks, and about eight circus tents where the DJs performed. It was amazing. We successfully saw four and a half performances. Alex was a little upset that we did not see more, but that was the price we had to pay for showing up at 8:00 when the festival ended at 11:00.

My Last English Adventure
I just got back from one of the most interesting adventures I have had all summer. This weekend, my roommate and I decided to go to the Creamfields Festival in Liverpool. If some of you do not know, Creamfields Festival is one of the biggest music festivals in the UK that displays popular DJs throughout the world. It was so exciting, but it took a lot to get there. First, we had to buy our tickets and that was a battle within itself. Every time I try to purchase something online in London, my billing address does not get accepted. So, I always have to call customer service. Luckily, Bill from Ticketmaster was very helpful and was able to get me a ticket in less than twenty minutes. Thank you Bill. Next, we had to figure out how to get to Liverpool. For some reason, to get to Liverpool from London is extremely expensive. I do not understand this because going to Dublin or Paris was under $200. Going to Liverpool was 500 pounds by air. Does not make any sense, does it? After an endless search through we web, we decided it was more cost efficient to rent a car. We ended up getting a Zipcar. This is where the crazy adventure starts. Driving on the other side of the road was such an ordeal. I think we got in almost five accidents and five tickets. Luckily, we were able to get to Liverpool in one piece without any tickets.
Out of all of the experiences I had abroad this was definitely the most exciting. We put a lot into a trip that only lasted for two days. There were a lot of bumps in the road (literally), but we made it and had the time of our lives.

I am glad you had so much fun at Creamfields. It was an early morning for all of us for sure, and a long day at that. Also, so glad you and Alex got there safely. It definitely seems like an amazing way to end your trip. I was so upset I didn't get to go to V Festival in England which was the weekend before because of how much money it was! So crazy, all that money for a day/weekend festival! But it definitely looked worth it!
